The film was released theatrically on the 12th January, coincidenting with Sankranti, with its dubbed version of Malayalam entitled Angu Vaikunthrapurathu, after its premiere in the US on 11 January 2020. Critics lauded Allu Arjun, Murali Sharma, the Trivikram and Thaman's soundtrack, as well as the success of the film opened up to favorable reviews. The movie was made a big success and ended up as one of the biggest Telugu movies and one of Indian's largest brutal movies in 2020, with a gross total of 2,262,05 crore(US$37 million). It was also one of the biggest Telugu movies in the United States with more than 13 million dollars collected after release.
